Some pictures i took last September in Preston Park. I kind of forgot about them, but this was a lovely day.
Jumper: Monki, Skirt: Ark, Coltranes: Zalando
So, first outfit post of 2014 but its february...all i can say is where did january go?! As usual i can't believe how fast the year is going. in all fairness i have been very busy with uni, no changes there.
Anyway, this outfit is one that i took a lil while ago, but is something i wear quite often. I love the combination of such a big jumper with a cute skirt, and these boots toughen up any outfit. Obviously i'd layer up with a big coat on top, but you get the idea haha.
The title comes from the song Home by Now by Bombay Bicycle Club. Their new album came out yesterday (squeal!) and i'm excited to say that i'll be going to see them in March (super squeal!!). I really can't wait, they're one of my favourite bands who constantly produce brilliant music.
I'll try and post more, especially as i got a remote for my camera for christmas so hopefully that'll making taking pictures a lot easier!
Hello lovely people! I hope you all had a great Christmas (if you celebrate it) and a wonderful new year! Mine were both really good, spending with my loved ones is the best thing i could have asked for and i got what i wanted. I haven't really done any Christmas posts and for that i'm sorry, but not really because i was having some good ole fashioned family time. I did get some lovely gifts though, my favourite being tickets to go and see Arctic Monkeys this year!!! My amazing boyfriend had been saving this surprise for me for a while and i feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I also got some other amazing things, but i thought i'd just post a couple of my favourites.
Like about a million other people (at least according to instagram) i got "IT" by Alexa Chung and fell even more in love with her then before. Its pretty much perfect. Included are some of my favourite pictures, though to be honest there were so many more. Not only that but the writing was just enough to satisfy any wondering as to what goes on inside Alexa's mind without being a cheesy autobiography. Like i said, pretty much perfect. Amongst other gifts which i loved, i also received this lovely Cath Kidston phone case. The design is so cute and i think it may have sparked a new obsession.
How were your new years and Christmas celebrations? I personally can't wait for 2014 to bring on whatever it has in store, i have a good feeling about this one.
